MY06 Forester

The MY06 Subaru Forester STI is the new face lifted version of this superb model. The Subaru Forester STI is based on the rally honed Impreza chassis and drivetrain but has all the practicality and subtlety of a family SUV. The Subaru Forester STI and its unique versatility has been fantastically well received in both the press media and now on TV.

Featuring Subaru's superb 2.5 STI engine which with our remapped ECU produces a staggering 300bhp and gives the Subaru Forester outrageous pace. The Subaru Forester STI engine also benefits from an advanced Active Valve Control System (AVCS) which improves the engines efficiency and response throughout the rev range. The 6-speed gearbox is also taken from the Impreza STI but features a 14% higher gear ratio which really utilise the engines massive 300lbft of torque allowing for relaxed Motorway cruising.

Stopping all this power has not been forgotten with the standard 18” Wheels and performance Bridgestone tyres concealing massive Brembo brakes. The MY06 Subaru Forester STI also has a completely re-engineered chassis setup which features up-rated suspension and roll bars. These offer superb body control whilst maintaining a supple and compliant ride.

With our experience and technical investment Litchfield Imports are the only company to have passed the stringent EuroIV emissions and noise test, allowing us to import these amazing cars. Like all our Japanese imports the Subaru Forester STI is supplied with its ECU remapped for UK fuel, driveability and power. Each car goes through the complicated ESVA Type Approval test and is fully converted for UK use.

Our Performance Pack utilities our experience of tuning the 2.5 engine with the Type 25 and yields a devastatingly smooth power increase. Fitting our specially tailored Forester STI Milltek exhaust with their unique sports CAT gives a dramatic improvement in flow whilst remaining emissions and noise friendly. The increase in performance is complimented by a carefully remapped ECU that is honed from hours of in-house dyno experience.
