New Litchfield Products Developed
One of the most enjoyable parts of this company is the development of new parts and products. 2008 and 2009 have seen a massive effort to get new Litchfield parts to market which will significantly improve what we offer as complete cars and upgrades to customers. I’m delighted to say that some of our long running projects have reached production.

Litchfield at Castle Coombe & Silverstone shows
The sun is finally out and it is show session again. We have recently attended 2 shows, the first was Japfest at Castle Coombe and the second was the JTS Show at Silverstone. At Japfest we shared a stand with exhaust partners Milltek Sport. On show was a R35 Nissan GTR fitted with our latest Y-Pipe exhaust upgrade along with our Subaru Type-20 demonstrator which proved excellent on Track.

Litchfield to attend Japfest show
We are will be attending the 2009 Japfest show at Castle Coombe Race circuit on the 16th of May. We will be sharing a stand with long standing partners Milltek Sport. On Display will be a R35 Nissan GTR fitted with our latest Y-Pipe exhaust upgrade along with our Type-20 demo car. Both Jenny and Iain will be around to answer any questions and we look forward to catching up with many of our customers.

Litchfield Impreza Type-20 hits the press
Our latest Subaru Impreza special edition, the Type-20, is receiving fantastic critical reviews. So far we have had the car featured by Driver’s Republic, Autocar Magazine and Evo Magazine with more to follow soon. You can view Autocar’s online review now and it will be featured in their early January Magazine issue.

Exciting times for Litchfield
2008’s big announcement for us is that after 4 years of sharing premises in Northway Industrial Estate, Litchfield is moving to a new larger, purpose built facility. This new site will allow us to offer even higher standards to our customers while leaving plenty of scope for future expansion.

New Civic Type-R colour range announced.
Launch in May 2007 the Honda Civic Type-R has been a massive success with customers and critics alike. From the 4th of September we will be able to order this amazing car in 2 new colour options. Honda has stopped production of both Silver and Blue Metallic paint and replaced them with Black and Purple Metallic. We hope to see high resolution photographs soon of these new colours but we expect them to prove even more popular.

2008 Open Day
Easter bank holiday saw our joint Open Day with PowerStation and it proved a huge hit the enthusiasts. Despite the cold weather several hundred people arrived to take part in the day's activities which included a free Rolling Road and a chance to speak too many of our suppliers. 2008 Subaru STI a huge hit at the Autosport Show
Litchfield Imports has been at the forefront of Subaru development over recent years and the beginning of 2008 is no exception. Despite the new Subaru STI only just being launched in Japan, we have already received and begun modifying our development car. This Type-20 "Concept" was unveiled at the prestigious Autosport show where it received a very enthusiastic welcome.

2007 Tokyo Motorshow
As the UK's leading independent Import specialist, Litchfield Imports was invited to sample the new Impreza STI and Nissan GTR at the world launch in Japan. We were also able to get a closer look at Mitsubishi's new Evo X and the stunning Lexus LF-F.

At last after all the spy shots, Nuremburg Scoops and Teaser images the new Subaru Impreza STI is finally here. The new MY08 Japanese Domestic market STI promises significant improvements over the outgoing model with the visual attitude to match its huge performance.

The Japanese Honda Civic Type-R has proved a fantastic hit with customers and critics alike
You can read the magazine features on our Honda Civic pages and soon the car will be featured on Channel 5's Fifth Gear programme. Vicki Butler-Hendson seemed to really enjoying the Civic around Castle Coombe race circuit and we should be able to see her driving our car on the 3rd of September when the new series starts. At the time of filming they hoped the Civic would be featured on the first show.

JDM Honda Civic Type-R is here!
The first Civic Type-R arrived in the country in late June and we quickly started work. Chassis setup was checked and the car was run on the Dyno to access the engine performance. This caused a surprise as despite only a handful of miles the new K20A engine pushed out an impressive and repeatable 237bhp. This is some 15bhp over the Honda factory claim!

What a weekend!

Saturday saw both Litchfield Imports and Powerstation attend 2 shows and travel over 1,000 miles; Japfest at Castle Coombe Wiltshire and Scoobynet Live (Scooby Shootout) in Elvington York. Despite the incredibly early starts they both proved a huge success.

April 2006 Update

TIME ATTACK is here!
Litchfield Imports and Powerstation will jointly be campaigning our 2006 Subaru Impreza Type-25 race car. This car is based on the latest lightweight Spec C and features a larger blueprinted 2.5 Type-25 engine producing 500bhp on normal optimax!

Forester STI on Fifth Gear (Channel 5)
Tonight sees the beginning of a new series of Channel 5's Fifth Gear and either tonight or next week the show should feature the Forester STI. Our demonstrator was hussled around a rain soaked Anglesey Circuit by Vicky Buttler-Henderson and by all accounts she loved it.

November saw us attend the huge SEMA aftermarket car show in Las Vegas were we got to meet a number of long standing suppliers and discuss plans for 2006. The show was simply incredible with some amazing show cars and new developments on display. One of our suppliers and partners in the new Type 25 is Cosworth Inc.

Where do we start, it's been a very busy period recently and one in which has seen the new MY06 Type 25 take some significant steps forward. We are in the final stages of testing and hope to have the first car finalized shortly. September 17th saw the UK's inaugural Tuner GP event with Litchfield and POWERSTATION entering a MY06 Spec C and a version of the MY06 Type 25.
